We’re thrilled to announce our integration with Flare, an EVM smart contract platform that expands the utility of blockchain. This strategic partnership is centered on both innovation and the aim to enhance the accessibility of Web3 for developers and end-users, unlocking new possibilities.

Why is it important?

The Web3 landscape has long been touted as the future of the Internet, promising a decentralized, secure, and frictionless digital world. However, for this vision to become a reality, it is crucial to eliminate the complexities that have held back user adoption.

Etherspot’s advanced approach involves Account Abstraction, a technology that empowers dApp developers to create flexible and customizable smart contract accounts. These new accounts replace the Externally Owned Accounts, which are traditionally managed using lengthy private keys. The implications are significant — a smoother onboarding process for new users and the ability to abstract away complex blockchain operations.

This paradigm shift enables Web3 developers to offer users an experience similar to the familiar Web2, where features such as crypto wallet social recovery or one-click actions to sign multiple transactions become a reality.

Account Abstraction on Flare

DApp developers on Flare are set to benefit from a wealth of cutting-edge solutions provided by Etherspot. These include the versatile Prime SDK, which ensures compatibility with ERC-4337 and ushers in a simplified user experience. Prime SDK introduces a range of account abstraction features, such as social logins, seamless on-ramp solutions, cross-chain bridging, transaction bundling, and much more, all designed to enhance the dApp user experience. Additionally, Etherspot’s Skandha Bundler, a top-rated account abstraction service on Github, will play a crucial role in reducing gas costs by collecting multiple UserOperations (transactions) and consolidating them into a single, efficient transaction.

The integration of Etherspot’s Arka Paymaster service into Flare’s ecosystem is a game-changer. It empowers users to perform gasless transactions on the Flare network, eliminating the need to hold FLR tokens or compromise account custody, while also offering the flexibility to cover transaction fees with popular tokens like ERC-20, such as USDC. At the same time, dApps on Flare will be able to leverage Arka Paymaster Services to sponsor transactions of their users. This breakthrough not only enhances the user experience but also facilitates the adoption of dApps on the Flare network by making the onboarding process smoother for newcomers.

This partnership between Etherspot and Flare paves the way for a more user-friendly, efficient, and accessible Web3 experience. By eliminating the barriers to entry for both developers and end-users, the future of Web3 is looking brighter than ever.

About Flare

Flare is the blockchain for data, an EVM smart contract platform that expands the utility of blockchain. With decentralized oracles built into the structure of the network, Flare is the only smart contract platform optimized for decentralized data acquisition — price & time series data, blockchain event & state data, and Web2 API data.

By giving developers trustless access to the broadest range of data at scale and for minimal cost, Flare acts as a utility layer for the blockchain industry and supports the development of new and improved use cases.
