Reddio Mainnet Alpha Launches Parallel EVM for AI dApps

Reddio has launched the alpha version of its mainnet, billing the network as the first GPU-accelerated, parallel-execution EVM designed specifically for AI-native decentralised applications.

The network supports over 13,000 transactions per second while preserving Ethereum-grade security and decentralization, and introduces a CUDA-compatible bytecode executor for on-chain AI inferencing under an Ethereum Foundation grant.

The Mainnet Alpha follows a robust testnet phase that processed more than 131 million transactions, onboarded over 19 million wallet addresses, and partnered with 50+ ecosystem projects. The Reddio token ($RDO) is live, powering transaction fees, sequencer rewards, and developer incentives across the network.

Key features include a modular Sequencer SDK for launching OP and ZK Appchains, optimized gas usage for low fees at scale, and AI-optimized on-chain execution for autonomous agent workloads. Reddio’s roadmap includes deploying the parallel EVM on BNB Chain, a 2x performance enhancement, full GPU acceleration, and decentralization of the GPU network.

EIP-7782 Could Double Ethereum Throughput

aa_digest_7702

Ethereum core developer Barnabé Monnot has outlined a proposal to halve the network’s slot time from 12 seconds to six, effectively doubling block production and confirmation speed.

EIP-7782 makes the case for reducing Ethereum’s slot time from 12 seconds to 6 seconds in the upcoming “Glamsterdam” upgrade. By halving the slot duration and adjusting subslot duties (block proposals to 3 seconds, attestations and aggregations to 1.5 seconds), the proposal promises faster transaction inclusion, enhanced censorship-resistance, and a more responsive user experience across L1 and rollups.

Proponents argue shorter slots will reduce confirmation latency, improve on-chain exchange efficiency by limiting arbitrage losses, and foster healthier block-building markets with more frequent opportunities for proposers and provers.

Additional benefits include quicker interoperability signals for bridges and rollups, lower reward variability for stakers, and smoother network load through smaller, more frequent block propagation.

EIP-7782’s authors note that while client implementations will require adjustments — such as millisecond-level timing changes for slot scheduling — the transition is technically feasible, citing similar configurations on Gnosis Chain (5s slots) and Nethermind Perfnets (4s slots).

Biconomy’s Verifiable EVM Scripting via EIP-7702

Biconomy has unveiled a verifiable scripting model for Ethereum via its EIP-7702 proposal, transforming the traditional {to, value, data} transaction into dynamic, composable scripts.

Developers can now author flows in TypeScript, complete with runtime conditionals, parameter injection, and control structures, that compile to Merkle-hashed bytecode executable by relayers in a single on-chain call. This approach collapses multi-step interactions into one signature and one execution, drastically improving both user and developer experience.

Unlike the static, single-chain batches of ERC-4337, verifiable scripting supports reading on-chain state (balances, prices), dynamic parameter resolution, and branching logic. It leverages Merkle encoding of script instructions and pre- and post-conditions to ensure each step is verifiable and tamper-proof. Multichain flows, such as swapping on Optimism, bridging to Base, and supplying on Morpho, can now be authored as a unified script with ordered execution across networks.

Execution takes place fully on-chain within the user’s smart account or, with EIP-7702, directly on their EOA. Relayers simply post the compiled calldata to the account’s execute function, sponsoring gas and allowing payment in any supported token. For added security, ERC-7715 enables companion accounts that sandbox scripts with only the funds they request, preventing unrestricted access to user assets.

HappyChain Testnet and Happy Wallet Go Live

HappyChain has kicked off its new testnet alongside the debut of the Happy Wallet, promising Web2-style onboarding and Web3 decentralization without the usual friction.

Users can log in with Google, no installation or seed phrases required, and immediately access a cross-app wallet secured by Celestia’s data-availability layer.

The Happy Wallet boasts built-in gas sponsorship on testnet, covering all fees by default, and a modular paymaster system for app-specific sponsorship. Under the hood, account-abstraction techniques power 3x faster transactions on Optimism-like stacks (6s drops to 2s), with further performance gains on high-speed chains.

Developers can try out the wallet via an interactive demo or integrate it directly into their applications using the publicly available documentation.

The Happy Wallet aims to combine full wallet UI and security (like MetaMask) with one-click onboarding and gas abstraction (like Privy), marking a fresh take on seamless, secure Web3 experiences.
